Emmanuel Simiyu, a 12th-grader at Greenway High in Arizona, won the Division 2 boys senior/invitational race by covering the 3-mile layout in 15:53.1 at the 43rd ASICS Mt. Carmel Cross Country Invitational at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif.
